The School prepares law enforcement managers for senior positions by combining academic principles with practical applications. Since the program launched in 1983, it has received enthusiastic response from public safety executives throughout the country. In 2012, the SPSC curriculum was redesigned and updated to better incorporate adult- and problem-based learning models. Seven of the nine members of the Hickory Hills Police Department Command Staff have completed this training.
